We have several scouting units chartered by our parish.
St. Bonaventure Parish has chartered scouting units for over 50 years. The programs of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) provide a safe place for boys and girls to learn and grow. All Adult leaders are required to take BSA Youth Protection Training and California Child Abuse and Neglect training. In addition, all adult leaders are fingerprinted through LIVE SCAN in accordance with the policy of the Diocese of Oakland and the State of California.
The scouting units at St. Bonaventure Parish are open to boys and girls of any faith. Scouting units provide opportunities for Scouts to grow spiritually through the religious awards of various faiths.
