Adult Younger and Older: Are you confirmed?

? Are you out of high school and younger than 100?

? Are you a Catholic who has been baptized and has received First Communion but not confirmation?

? Are you too embarrassed or do you think you are too old to receive Confirmation now?

? Have you been away from active Church participation and want to celebrate Confirmation as one way to return?

? Are you preparing for marriage or for godparenting and find that you are unconfirmed?

It is never too late to celebrate the transforming love of God in your life and to grow in faith. The next opportunity for adults of the Oakland diocese to receive Confirmation by Bishop Salvatore Cordelione in a special celebration ONLY for adults will be on January 28, 2012, at the Cathedral of Christ the Light. All candidates for this celebration are to be prepared for the sacrament through the local parish. We will begin our parish ten session preparation process on Tuesday, October 11, 7:30-9:00 PM. Sign-up brochures may be obtained in the church foyer and in the parish office, or you may download, copy, fill in and send Sister Anne the application found in “Forms” on the St. Bonaventure parish web site.
