Liturgy
This committee plans meaningful liturgies for the parish, with special
emphasis on the seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Holy Week/Easter. This
committee meets monthly. All parishioners interested in liturgy planning are

This opportunity to serve is open to both boys and girls who have reached the
4th grade. They assist the priest and deacon at their assigned Sunday Mass.
Training is provided and there are some meetings held during the year. Contact JoAnn Layton at 672-4628
Providing an inspirational and prayerful environment for the liturgies is the
focus of this group. This is done through special decorations, banners,
lighting, etc. If you feel called to use your talents in this area, please join

A special Sunday morning opportunity for grammar school children to celebrate
the Liturgy of the Word during the 9am Mass.
We have many opportunities to lift up our voices in song!
The Sunday Liturgy Choirs sing traditional, contemporary and sometimes classical selections.
There are four different choirs from which to choose!
5:00 Saturday Evening Choir

9:00 Sunday Morning Choir

11:00 Sunday Morning Choir

6:00 Sunday Evening Youth Choir
Rehearsals start at 4:30pm before Mass. Contact at 672-5800, ext. 2215.
This ministry provides the opportunity to assist the presider with the giving
the consecrated bread and wine at each Sunday Eucharist. Attendance at one
training session is required. Contact Dick Costello at 687-2981
This ministry provides the opportunity to proclaim the Word of God at the
Sunday Eucharist. Training is provided. Lectors serve approximately once every 6
weeks. The week prior to serving, there is a scripture sharing for all Lectors
proclaiming the Word on the following Sunday. Contact Dick Costello at 687-2981.
Ministers of Hospitality (a.k.a. ushers) greet people at each Mass, assist
them in finding a seat, take up the collection and distribute bulletins after
Mass. Scheduling and frequency is flexible; training is provided. Sue Martling at 672-0220.
Members are involved in assisting in keeping the Church and altar linens in
good condition. Involvement includes, weekly light dusting, vacuuming of the
pews, laundering of altar linens, purificators and towels. Contact Doris Davies at 672-7060.
